Adding your work e-mail to your Android phone or tablet

If you have an Android phone and you want to sync your work e-mail to it, there is one big caveat that differentiates it from Apple phones. As of now, the built-in mail app for Android is not compatible with Okta authentication. This means that, unlike Apple phones, Android users must use the Outlook app to sync their work e-mail. The following steps will assist you in getting this done:

• Download the Outlook for Android app in the Google Play Store.

• In Outlook for Android, go to Settings -> Add account -> Add Email Account.

• Enter email address and tap continue. 

• The Okta authentication pop-up should appear. Key in your email and password.

• Outlook for Android should automate the rest and you should be good to go.
